I've decided what I want for Christmas... if there's anyone out there who cares ;)
Jody and I have decided what we're getting for each other already, yeah, I know, where's the element of surprise? Well, at least we know we're getting each other exactly what we want...
I've decided I really want to start scrapbooking, it's always looked fun to me. Not only that, but Aunt Becky has told me how much fun I would have with it, and she showed me some great examples last time I made it down to KY. I also had a girl that I went through training with in the cleveland area who is really into scrap-booking (teaches classes on it and all) talking more about it, so...
I'm getting for christmas, a new digital camera and a photo printer. I found both for around a hundred bucks a piece and know what brands and all, so that's taken care of. But... since we are getting both of those items, it doesn't leave any money left for other supplies, so if any of my loving friends or family were already planning to get me a little something or other for christmas but didn't know what... some ideas might be:
a scrapbook
different kinds and colors of paper
stickers
exacto knife
glue stick (that would be photo safe)
...
ummm, seeing as how i have never really done scrapbooking before I can't think of what other kinds of things i may want or need, but I bet I know who can!
(Hey Favorite Auntie of mine! Would you be so kind as to comment with a list of more items I may want or need?)
So anyway, besides thinking about Christmas tonight, I haven't really been up to too much else today. I got back from Cleveland yesterday. I was there again for some job training. I don't know if everyone knows (since I'm awful about updating this site with anything but photos of Athena), but I started working for Jenny Craig in August. I'm a weight loss consultant. I love it! The only thing I haven't loved is having to leave home twice for nearly a week at a time to go to cleveland for training. As far as I know I'm done with that now. I don't think I have any more trainings to attend... It's just hard for me to leave the baby. I know it's worth it though, I am really happy to have a job that I enjoy, where I help people in a way that really matters. Not only that, but it's not exactly minimum wage :) woo-hoo! That doesn't mean I'm rich or anything, but it does mean that sloooooowly I can start to pay off all those bills I racked up over the last 6 years...
Anyway, I need to go make some dinner and get Athena a bottle, so goodnight all! |
